DebtShift Privacy Policy

DebtShift helps you understand your spending, debt, and payoff plan. We designed the core financial plan to work without an account.

Financial plan data

Your income, expenses, debts, payoff plan, daily entries, and financial reports stay on your device. DebtShift does not upload, sync, or sell this financial-plan data. You can export a profile file yourself and choose where to store it. Deleting the app or clearing its data can remove local data, so keep an export if you need a backup.

Optional online services

If you choose to use Shift Sales, submit an order, request a payout, or contact support, we send only the data needed for that selected service to the DebtShift service. This can include your display name, contact details you provide, order details, payout method details, and support messages. These records are used to provide the service, respond to you, prevent fraud, and maintain an accurate order and commission record.

Anonymous activity count

While the app is open, it sends a temporary random session ID, app version, platform, and last-active time so we can see an approximate number of active app sessions. The ID changes when the app restarts, is not linked to your name or financial plan, and old session records are deleted automatically.

Photos and device permissions

If you ask the app to save product images, Android asks for the necessary media-library permission. The app uses that permission only to save the images you selected. You can revoke permissions in Android Settings.

Advertising

DebtShift uses Google Mobile Ads to display clearly labelled advertising. Google and its advertising partners may process device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from network information, ad interactions, and diagnostic data to deliver, measure, limit, and protect ads. Where required, the Google consent form is shown before ad requests and provides privacy choices. The core financial-plan data described above is not sent to Google Mobile Ads.

Sharing and security

We do not sell personal data. Access to online service records is restricted to authorized administration functions. No security method is perfect, so do not send passwords, bank card numbers, or other highly sensitive credentials in support messages.

Your choices

• Use the debt-planning features without creating an account.
• Export your local profile whenever you choose.
• Avoid optional Shift Sales and support services if you do not want those service records processed online.
• To request help with an online service record, use the in-app Support screen and include the contact information used for the request.
